Location: Southeast England | Sector: Global Freight & Cargo Logistics

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the estates function, including lease reviews, rent negotiations, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Oversee the onboarding of third-party occupiers, ensuring all operational and contractual requirements are met.
  • Support delivery of property services including maintenance, surveying, capital works and asset upgrades across operational and waterfront properties.
  • Drive commercial performance through proactive asset management and value optimisation.
  • Maintain compliance with lease obligations, statutory requirements, and environmental performance standards.
  • Support energy performance certification, cleaning, waste, and facilities management for tenanted spaces.
  • Collaborate across departments to align real estate activity with wider logistics operations.
  • Manage the estates IT system and ensure accuracy of property data and billing processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent) or relevant professional qualification.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar commercial property or estate management role.
  • Proven track record in building surveying, lease negotiation, and asset compliance.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive property-related revenue streams.
  • Knowledge of property law, landlord/tenant responsibilities, and facilities operations.
  • Competence in MS Office and ideally property management software.
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
