This globally renowned FTSE100 heritage retail organisation is currently undergoing a major transformation and is seeking a passionate and strategic procurement leader to join its team. You will have the opportunity to drive strategic procurement and commercial delivery across the Corporate Services procurement portfolio, directly impacting the organisation’s global objectives and bottom line.
You will lead a small team and act as a senior advisor to executive stakeholders, while owning and delivering best-in-class procurement across a diverse range of indirect procurement categories including a strong focus on HR, Professional Services procurement, as well as wider exposure to indirect FM and Travel procurement.

Senior Procurement Manager responsibilities…
- Full ownership and long-term strategic category management of the indirect Professional Services and HR procurement categories, covering a range of subcategories such as Legal, Insurance and Consultancy as well as some exposure to FM procurement and Travel procurement
- Drive strategic activities across the indirect end-to-end procurement function in relation to strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, risk mitigation, negotiation and tender management
- Undertake excellent stakeholder relationship management in relation to effectively influencing C-Suite stakeholders as part of the ongoing transformation journey as well as leading a small team of passionate up-and-coming procurement professionals

- Ability to demonstrate past strategic exposure to the end-to-end indirect procurement space, ideally with subject matter expertise across HR and Professional Services procurement along with Travel and FM procurement exposure
- Past experience of team leadership and ability to effectively mentor a small team
