This renowned organisation is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Senior Operational Procurement Manager to drive best-in-class procurement strategy, optimise value delivery, enhance business operations through innovative sourcing and contract management as well as inspiring your team to facilitate overall delivery. You’ll be at the forefront of transforming how the organisation engages with its supply chain, ensuring robust commercial outcomes and operational performance.
You will have the ability to effectively deliver on diverse and high-value procurement projects across a vast range of procurement categories whilst inspiring and mentoring up-and-coming strategic procurement professionals.
Your Impact Will Include…
- Leading the development and execution of strategic procurement plans across diverse operational categories, including subcategories across Technology procurement and FM procurement, as well as Asset Management.
- Driving end-to-end sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and post-contract performance.
- Championing continuous improvement through cost efficiencies and supplier innovation.
- Managing and mentoring a high-performing procurement team to foster excellence and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities…
- Deliver strategic sourcing for complex, high-value spend areas, ensuring robust governance, legal compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and present innovative commercial models and procurement strategies to senior stakeholders and C-Suite, challenging existing plans to maximise value and mitigate risk.
- Effectively mentor and inspire an established team of 5 high calibre procurement professionals
- Oversee contract management processes, driving supplier performance, continuous improvement, and value realisation throughout the contract lifecycle.
