This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Procurement Lead to manage a broad indirect spend portfolio, working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to a high-performing, forward-thinking team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing across indirect categories, from market analysis through to contract award
- Develop and implement category strategies, delivering cost efficiencies and supplier optimisation
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide strategic procurement guidance
- Evaluate supplier proposals and deliver clear commercial recommendations
- Ensure procurement activity aligns with governance, compliance and risk frameworks
- Support contract negotiations alongside legal and risk teams
- Oversee supplier onboarding and due diligence processes
- Embed sustainability and responsible sourcing within procurement activity
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement performance
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in indirect procurement within a complex or professional services environment
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
- Experience managing multiple categories and projects simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Good understanding of procurement processes, governance and risk
- Experience in facilities management categories is beneficial but not essential
- Up to £65,000 with comprehensive benefits, including healthcare and pension
