Are you a passionate FM procurement subject matter expert seeking an opportunity where you can drive strategic category management with the ability to imprint your approach? If so, this is the perfect procurement position for you. This industry-leading organisation is undergoing the creation of a brand-new procurement function to facilitate extensive future growth plans and is therefore developing a best-in-class procurement team.
Within this greenfield position you’ll have autonomous ownership of the Facilities Management procurement category, the key category of spend, where you’ll have the ability to imprint your approach and implement best practice procurement processes from scratch. Initially you’ll focus on supplier consolidation before creating an effective FM procurement category strategy, covering soft services such as cleaning and catering as well as hard services, MRO and property procurement. You will have global procurement exposure with your remit covering the UK and Europe, with the possibility of leading an IFM approach in the future. This is an exciting opportunity where once you get your foot in the door, the future possibilities are endless!
Indirect FM Procurement Lead responsibilities:
- Autonomous ownership of the FM procurement category in relation to effectively undertaking FM supplier management, category management strategy, strategic sourcing, contract management, negotiation and tender management.
- Maintain best practice procurement processes within a dynamic greenfield environment through change management, continuous improvement and transformation procurement activities.
- Lead the formulation, implementation and maintenance of best practice procurement processes across the end-to-end procurement function from scratch.
Indirect FM Procurement Lead requirements:
- Strong subject matter expertise within the Facilities Management procurement category, covering both soft and hard services procurement; ideally with exposure to cleaning and catering.
- Excellent capabilities surrounding category management, savings delivery, contract management and negotiation.
- Past experience leading an Integrated Facilities Management (IIFM) or Total Facilities Management (TFM) project would be beneficial.
