The firm works extensively across the healthcare and wider public sector, supporting organisations to deliver operational improvement, develop new strategies and achieve measurable, sustainable outcomes. Its work combines traditional consulting expertise with analytics and data-led approaches to solving complex operational challenges. This is an opportunity for an experienced consultant to take responsibility for delivering complex client engagements, leading workstreams and project teams, developing solutions and contributing to the continued growth of the consulting practice. The role would particularly suit someone with a strong background in procurement, supply chain and operational improvement, combined with experience working in healthcare, the wider public sector, central government, life sciences or pharmaceuticals.Responsibilities As a Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading specific workstreams across consulting engagements, including opportunity assessments, strategy development and performance improvement programmes.Managing the successful delivery of projects in line with agreed client and commercial objectives.Coordinating project resources, data collection and analysis across one or more engagements.Developing tailored solutions and translating analysis into practical, actionable recommendations.Working closely with senior stakeholders to communicate findings, recommendations and project outcomes.Building strong and trusted relationships with clients and wider stakeholder groups.Providing insight on relevant industry trends, emerging technologies and best practice.Contributing to internal initiatives focused on developing and continuously improving the consulting practice.Identifying opportunities for further work within existing and prospective client relationships.Supporting business development activity from initial opportunity through to award, working alongside senior leadership.Coaching and supporting junior colleagues, contributing to their professional development.Requirements We are interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate: 5+ years’ experience within consulting, including at least 2 years with managerial responsibilities.At least 2 years’ experience within healthcare consulting, the wider public sector, central government, life sciences or pharmaceuticals.Strong experience delivering operational improvement programmes, particularly involving procurement and supply chain.Good knowledge of the UK healthcare landscape and regulatory environment, or relevant experience within comparable public sector markets.Proven project management capability, including leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programmes or initiatives.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations.Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.Degree-level education or above.A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to deliver high-quality work within a fast-paced consulting environment.Willingness to travel to client sites when required, predominantly within the UK with occasional international travel.
