In this role you shape and implement procurement strategy across a decentralised, multi-business group. You will influence global supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and support a new CLM system, enabling value creation without central control. You work across UK, US and Europe to align technical and commercial goals and grow procurement capability at OpCo level. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee global supplier relationships in technology areas (SaaS, software, cybersecurity) with a focus on negotiations and contract strategy
  • Support the rollout and optimization of a new contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
  • Partner with operating companies across regions to identify value opportunities and build trusted relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Act as a strategic advisor to OpCos, supporting customer negotiations and sharing procurement insight and best practices
  • Drive value through influence and collaboration, without relying on formal authority

Key requirements:

  • Technology/SaaS/IT and manufacturing/direct procurement experience
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and manage commercial contracts
  • Experience working in multi‑business, decentralised, or matrix environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing ability
  • Comfort operating without formal authority or mandate
  • Self-directed and commercially minded
  • Technology procurement expertise (software licensing, SaaS, cybersecurity)
  • Experience implementing or working with CLM systems
  • Ability to operate with limited legal support (contract ownership)
