Lead Supply Chain Design Consultant – Defence Sector
Shape the future of the UK’s most complex supply chain network.
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping a new strategic capability from the ground up.
We\’re looking for a visionary leader to spearhead the creation and delivery of a new supply chain design framework – one that will directly support the organisation’s long-term strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver future-facing Supply Chain Design Principles
- Lead the development of performance outcomes and success metrics
- Interpret and influence supply chain policy and strategy
- Act as a senior-level consultant, engaging with senior stakeholders across Defence
- Identify critical design requirements for a resilient, future-ready supply chain
- Oversee the successful implementation of supply chain design strategies
- Optimise and redesign supply chains to meet evolving demands and complexities
This is a senior leadership role where you’ll be empowered to drive transformation, embed best practice, and build a robust, agile, and scalable supply chain function. Your work will directly impact national capability and security.
What we are looking for:
- A strategic thinker with experience in supply chain design or transformation
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at the highest levels
- Strong understanding of supply chain strategy, policy, and implementation
- Experience within Defence, Government, or similarly complex sectors is highly desirable

Key Skills
- Knowledge of MoD organizational design, processes and procedures would be highly beneficial
- Deep complex supply chain knowledge and experience
- MCIPS an advantage
- You will need to be able to obtain SC Clearance for this role
Location, Remuneration and Timeframe
- Hybrid – 2 days per week on site in London/Bristol
- £650-850 per day, Inside IR35
- 6 Months +
