Key Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive procurement strategy to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Act as a subject matter expert in supplier and client contract management
  • Conduct market analysis, strategic supplier sourcing, and tender document development
  • Lead complex pricing and contract negotiations, ensuring compliant tendering processes
  • Draft and amend commercial contract terms, manage approval processes, and oversee supplier onboarding/offboarding
  • Track and report contract benefits, ensuring they are realised
  • Implement and manage a dynamic supplier tiering structure based on performance
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage supplier relationships

Key Skills & Experience

  • CIPS qualification (desired but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of indirect procurement, contract management, and supplier performance management
  • Experience with technology platforms and reverse auctions
  • Ability to develop and manage senior stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Agile and adaptive, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with VMS systems (advantageous)
