Hybrid Working Available (2 days per week in office)

We are supporting a long-established procurement consultancy that provides essential services to schools and Trusts across the UK. Following continued growth, they are seeking a capable and motivated Procurement Account Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys managing a diverse range of tender processes, from catering and cleaning to ICT managed services, payroll, reprographics, and maintenance.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will support clients throughout the end-to-end tender lifecycle: drafting tender documentation, coordinating bid processes, evaluating submissions, and ensuring full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality, compliant MoI, PSQ, ITT and RFP documents using PandaDoc
  • Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers (phone, email, in-person)
  • Manage bid timelines and coordinate all tender-related tasks
  • Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets and project documentation
  • Undertake complex bid evaluation and financial analysis
  • Attend site visits and bidder presentations
  • Produce detailed post-project Procurement Audit Reports
  • Use and manage In-Tend e-procurement software
  • Review and improve tender templates and documentation
  • Manage workflow tasks via GenieAI CRM
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procurement legislation

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in a procurement role
  • Bid evaluation and analysis expertise
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently

Desirable:

  • Understanding of the Procurement Act 2023
  • Experience using e-procurement platforms (e.g., In-Tend)
  • Sector experience within education
  • Degree (or equivalent qualification)
