Covering the North East region, we’re looking for someone who thrives on building relationships within a sales environment — a natural connector with a strong and active network across the North East business community.
What Our Partnership Manager will Be Doing:
- Using your existing relationships to introduce us to local businesses who can benefit from our outsourced procurement model — directly or through their own customer networks.
- Actively promoting Procure Smart’s solution as a no-cost, value-add affiliate partnership, unlocking new revenue streams for partners through referral and introduction activity.
- Developing a trusted partner ecosystem across the region (e.g., venue operators, business support organisations, networking groups, professional services firms).
- Acting as a connector between businesses and our internal procurement experts.
- Attending local business events to expand influence and uncover referral opportunities.
- Maintaining ongoing communication and ensuring partners feel supported, engaged, and rewarded.
About You:
- You’ll excel here if you are well-connected within the North East business community.
- You love building relationships and making introductions that help businesses grow.
- You present with credibility and can influence decisions at a senior level.
- You are currently in a role such as: Business networking organisation / membership body, Corporate hospitality / events, Local business services / SME support, Account management or partnership development.
- You bring a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
- You know the regions of Durham, Sunderland & Newcastle inside out.
This role is ideal for someone already spending their time meeting people, opening doors, and driving collaboration.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary and strong uncapped commission for every successful introduction.
- A role at the heart of our regional growth strategy.
- Freedom to leverage your network your way.
- Supportive experts handling delivery so you can focus on what you do best — connecting people.
- Long-term career growth in a highly valued regional function.
About the Role:
The Partnership Manager role is all about opening doors, creating trusted introductions, and transforming connections into long-term commercial partnerships that deliver revenue for both our business and our partners. This is not a direct sales role. Instead, you’ll use your credibility, influence, and local presence to introduce partner organisations to our outsourced procurement model. In many cases, these will operate like affiliate partnerships — where businesses are rewarded for introducing our cost-saving solution to their own customer base. You’ll identify opportunities where improving purchasing power can strengthen a partner’s offering, helping their clients unlock cost savings and operational efficiencies. Once the introduction is made, our procurement specialists manage the process through to completion.
If you’re the person others turn to when they need to know “Who should I speak to about…?”, you’re likely a great fit.
Why This Role Matters:
Our model is transforming how businesses buy — reducing costs while increasing value. Your ability to champion that locally is key to bringing more organisations on the journey with us and expanding our affiliate partnership network across the North East.
