This role requires someone who already understands the commercial energy market, the broker model, compliance, and what it takes to build, coach, and retain successful sales professionals in this industry.

The Role

  • Leading and developing a team of outbound B2B energy sales executives
  • Holding full accountability for team performance, quality, and revenue delivery
  • Actively supporting in the recruitment, onboarding, and growing of a top-class sales team
  • Implementing structured coaching, training, and clear performance frameworks
  • Driving a competitive, motivated, and positive sales culture
  • Working closely with senior leadership to grow this new venture
  • Staying commercially sharp – supporting deals when required on key opportunities
  • On an adhoc basis, be actively involved in outbound sales yourself – generating opportunities, pitching, and closing deals.

  • Proven experience managing a B2B energy sales team (ideally required)
  • A track record of developing people, improving performance, and retaining talent
  • Strong knowledge of the UK business energy market (pricing, objections, supplier processes, compliance)
  • Experience in outbound telesales/team-based brokerage
