Next Energy Solutions are looking for a hard-working Electrician with a proven track record who understands the principles of testing, inspecting, and fault-finding.
The successful candidate will be carrying out the following tasks:
- Wiring in ventilation systems
- Working on S-Plans and Y-Plans for Air Source Heat Pump installations
- Wiring heating systems and installing new heating controls
- Other duties where required
The successful candidate must have:
- BS7671 18th Edition IEE Regulations (2022)
- BS2391, 2394/5 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2399 or equivalent in Solar PV is desirable but not mandatory
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years electrical experience is preferred but not mandatory as further training will be provided to the successful applicant.
- Experience in renewables is preferred but not mandatory as further training will be provided to the successful applicant.
The successful candidate will be provided with the following:
- Van
- Any specialist tools required
- Additional training (e.g. health and safety, asbestos awareness etc)
- Uniform provided
We have a range of contracts across the North West and North of England. While our installers mainly work locally, some flexibility is expected, as there may occasionally be a need for out-of-area work and overtime. However, this would not be a regular requirement.
