At Brightening Lives, we’re expanding our dedicated care team in the Harrogate area and are proud to support amazing people to live happy, independent, and fulfilling lives in their own homes and local communities. We’re now looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and reliable female Personal Assistants to join our growing team.
This rewarding role offers £14.50 per hour plus £95 per sleep-in, with flexible shifts between 7am and 10pm and alternate weekend working to ensure continuity of care. As a Personal Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred support that helps people live life on their own terms. Every day is different — from supporting with daily routines and personal care, to enjoying days out, social activities, or simply sharing good conversation and companionship. You’ll help to encourage independence, confidence, and wellbeing, bringing positivity and warmth to every moment.
Your working hours will be flexible, with a minimum of four-hour daytime shifts and occasional sleep-ins, giving you a great balance between meaningful work and personal time. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car. Most importantly, you’ll be caring, dependable, and energetic — someone who enjoys spending time with others and making a genuine difference. You’ll feel confident working independently or as part of a team, and while experience in care is helpful, it’s your values, compassion, and approach to people that matter most.
