Dales Community Care is looking for warm, patient and supportive Care Assistants to join our friendly community care team.
You’ll support people in their own homes, helping them stay happy, independent and allowing them to access the community.
Whether you’re an experienced carer or looking to develop a career in care, if you have the right attitude and a genuine desire to help others, we’d love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
As a Care Assistant, you'll provide person-centred support, including:
- Personal care, always promoting dignity, choice and independence
- Medication support and health monitoring
- Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs
- Light household tasks to help keep homes safe and comfortable
- Companionship, conversation and emotional support
- Building positive relationships with clients and their families
- Working alongside healthcare professionals when required
