At Brightening Lives, we’re growing our dedicated team in the Harrogate area, supporting amazing people to live happy, independent and fulfilling lives in their own homes and local communities. We’re looking for compassionate, enthusiastic and reliable Female Personal Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team.
What you’ll be doing
As a Personal Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred support that enables people to live life on their own terms. Every day is different. You could be supporting someone with their daily routine and personal care, heading out for a day trip or social activity, helping them build confidence and independence, or simply enjoying a good conversation and providing companionship. Your support can make a genuine difference to someone's independence, confidence and wellbeing.
Hours & Pay
- £14.50 per hour
- £95 per sleep-in
- Flexible shifts between 7am and 10pm
- Minimum 4-hour daytime shifts
- Occasional sleep-ins
- Alternate weekend working to provide continuity of care
- Flexible working to help you balance work and personal life
What we’re looking for
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to your own car
- A caring, positive and dependable approach
- Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to different people's needs
Previous care experience is helpful, but it’s not essential. What matters most to us is your attitude, compassion and genuine desire to support others.
