Full driving Licence and access to own vehicle required for this role.
We are seeking an empathetic and dedicated Male Support Worker to provide personalized care and assistance to an Young man "j" who is 30 years old with a learning disability, neurological migration disorder, left-sided hemiplegia, epilepsy, challenging behaviour.
J loves nothing more than singing along on car rides and a visit to the pub or arcades , and he will give you a run for your money when bowling !
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving the individual's quality of life, promoting independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. There will also be an element of personal care and moving and handling.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with the mentioned medical conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.

The refer a friend scheme is worth £500 in total. This is split £250 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £250 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
