Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Webflow developer, with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong experience developing in Webflow, creating visually stunning and user-friendly digital experiences for a diverse range of clients. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Digital Design, and working alongside our Creative Director, and Director of Digital Design. You’ll take ownership of Webflow builds from wireframe to launch, contribute to UX strategy, and ensure every project is accessible, SEO optimised and on brand.

What You’ll Do

  • Webflow Development
    • Build responsive, scalable websites in Webflow using best practice frameworks (Client-First, Lumos or equivalent)
    • Create well-structured CMS collections that scale easily, reusable components and design system elements
    • Implement animations, interactions and custom code to take sites to the next level
    • Maintain quality, accessibility and SEO best practices in all builds
  • Design & UX
    • Lead the digital design process including information architecture, wireframing, user flows, page hierarchies and layout concepts (Figma)
    • Translate wireframes into stunning, user-centric, conversion-driven designs
    • Apply strong visual judgement around spacing, typography, and layout
  • Collaboration & Delivery
    • Collaborate closely with designers, SEO specialists, and stakeholders
    • Communicate design and build in an articulate and engaging manner
    • Strong communicator who can manage timelines and lead builds independently
    • Manage multiple projects efficiently, while maintaining quality of work

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential Skills & Experience
    • 3+ years' experience in Webflow development and digital design in a marketing agency, or similar, environment
    • Expert Webflow knowledge, building complex, modular, responsive sites with CMS, interactions and best-practice structure
    • Experience working with pattern libraries and applying atomic design principles
    • High competence in Figma, including wireframes, prototypes and design systems
    • Solid understanding of responsive design, layout systems, and visual hierarchy
    • Good working knowledge of HTML5 & CSS (ability to use custom code when needed)
    • A commercial understanding of the importance of working to budgets
  • Creative & Strategic Thinking
    • Excellent visual judgement (typography, spacing, hierarchy)
    • Ability to contribute to UX decisions and justify design thinking
    • Strong problem-solver with attention to detail
    • Able to create pixel-perfect websites from design to development
    • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying data-driven insights to design decisions
  • Team & Communication
    • Able to present ideas confidently internally and to clients
    • Organised, able to juggle multiple projects and prioritise a high volume of work to meet deadlines
    • Collaborative and flexible in a fast-paced environment
    • Respect for client and company confidentiality
    • Confidence combined with an ability to learn quickly
    • A level head, with the ability to take on projects and produce great work independently of guidance or direction

Nice To Have

  • Experience with advanced interactions/animation tools (Lottie, GSAP, RIVE)
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and accessibility standards
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms
  • Experience in B2B, technology or financial services sectors
