We are seeking a talented and motivated Digital Designer with expertise in Webflow and a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly digital experiences for a diverse range of clients. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, development, and product teams to bring our brand to life online, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Digital Design, and working alongside our Creative Director, and Director of Digital Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Build high-quality websites in Webflow using best-practice frameworks (Client-First, Lumos or equivalent)
- Contribute to UX thinking, including:
- User journeys and page hierarchies
- Conversion-focused layouts
- Information architecture
- Semantic HTML and heading structure
- Clean URLs and internal linking
- Meta data and image optimisation
- Schema where appropriate
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a marketing agency, or similar, environment
- A love of bringing concepts to life through animation and interactivity using HTML5 and Webflow
- Solid understanding of responsive design, web standards, and best practices
- Experience designing or building websites with Webflow
- Experience working with pattern and Atomic design libraries
- Conceptual creativity, excellent typographic flair, visualising skills and a good understanding of design that grabs attention, elicits a response and sells
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying data-driven insights to design decisions
- A commercial understanding of the importance of working to budgets
- Excellent organisational skills:
- Able to prioritise a high volume of projects and processes.
- A hands‑on approach to problem solving.
- Able to deliver projects in a timely fashion.
- Great attention to detail.
- Quality assurance skills.
Technical skills
- Be able to build prototypes and demos of your design work
- Ability to use Mac OS-X operating system
- Ideally, you’ll have some further advanced coding knowledge, including JS
- Previous work with WordPress or a good knowledge of its capabilities
- Experience working with technology and financial services clients
- Capability in moving image.
