We work with clients, contractors and developers in a range of sectors including Energy and Power, Highways, Nuclear and Utilities to name a few, to support with a smooth delivery of projects.
We are looking for a Senior Planner responsible for the production of programmes for the Design, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Commissioning activities for each project from inception, feasibility phases through to completion; Implement change control processes: including early warnings, compensations events and construction/project managers instructions as and when required and supply chain inputs/outputs.
Detail the effects the aforementioned change events - early warnings and project managers instructions to the approved programme and report back to the business areas.
Co-ordination of inputs and outputs into/from the programme from the construction team and take the ‘lead’ on programme development and timely updating, analysis and critique.
Create earned value/project reporting encompassing resource & cost loading with associated CPI & SPI reporting.
Highlight areas of concern with regard to construction progress and review risks and mitigation measures with the construction and delivery teams.
Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of project controls, planning and construction activities.
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of planning and controls tools and techniques, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
