As part of our team, you will be given responsibility to collaborate with vendors to design, develop and deliver equipment to our global partners, scaling initial concepts into our world-renowned products. All whilst being supported by highly experienced Technical Coaches and a Career Mentor.

What To Expect:We offer a 4-year Engineering Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6) in our UK P&E Plastic Systems Engineering Group. Providing the opportunity to earn a competitive salary whilst achieving a full Bachelor of Engineering Degree and Apprenticeship Certificate from a top UK Engineering University. Gain hands-on experience and build your professional Network while you study.
Successful applicants will be based at our Reading Innovation centre and will travel to university for block-release study (approx. 8 x 1-week trips per annum). University Study will be a blend of face-to-face and distance learning with Degree fees and University travel expenses paid by P&G.
Alongside your university studies you will receive a customised learning plan tailored to the specific Engineering work we do in the P&E Plastics Engineering Group. You will also work on live Engineering projects, experience global business travel if/where required and put your studies into practice.

Full Time Role – Apprentices who successfully complete the Program have the potential to secure a full-time position with P&G after graduation. As a 'build from within' company, our people start at entry level and progress through the organization. When we make a job offer, it’s with the expectation that you will grow into one of our future leaders, and to help you get there, you will work closely with skilled P&G Engineers for mentoring and coaching at every step.
Job QualificationsWhat We Look For:
- A-Level students graduating in 2026 with predicted grades of 3 Cs or above in 3 STEM related subjects (including Maths) or equivalent qualifications.
- Ability to commute to our Reading site in the UK 4 days per week.
- Evidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities. Tell us what you’re proud of – be it playing a musical instrument or holding down a job alongside your studies. We want to get to know you!
- Strong interest in investigating and implementing new technologies.
- Strong verbal and written English language skills.
Please note. This is a degree level apprenticeship suitable for school-leavers. If you already have a degree, please take a look at our graduate and entry level positions which are available throughout the year and more appropriate for you. In addition, accommodation and travel requirements to be based at our Reading site need to be considered and arranged by successful applicants.
Start Date:This is a 4-year programme with an employment start date in September 2026 with degree study starting in October 2026.
