Procter & Gamble (P&G) are a leading company in the manufacture of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) making some of the world’s best loved brands like Gillette, Fairy and Oral-B. We are looking to hire a motivated Project Electrical Engineer Technician to lead a team of electrical technicians (and contractors) in the successful implementation and management of Power Control & Information Systems at our West Thurrock Site. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership to drive project execution, ensure quality and compliance, while fostering innovation and collaboration within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Lead the delivery of electrical components, oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of electrical systems and ensure adherence to specs and timelines.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and training to electrical technicians and engineers as well as staying updated with industry trends and advancements in PC&IS technologies.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and standards (e.g., IEC, OSHA) and proactively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, E&I technicians, and external partners.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Identify opportunities for process optimization within electrical systems and drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices.

Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly with PC&IS systems. Strong background in automation, controls, and power distribution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC&IS systems, control logic, and electrical system design. Expertise in industrial control systems (ICS) and related technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities. A proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Management Experience: You will be managing a team of electrical technicians and engineers.
