We are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor with Health and Safety to create an impact at our UK Head Office in Weybridge, Surrey (commutable from South London). The role will predominantly focus on providing an Occupational Health service to employees at our Weybridge office and satellite offices in Harrogate and Tunbridge Wells and with additional responsibility for Health & Safety at the Weybridge office.
You will play a crucial role in supporting and driving the well-being and safety of our employees, managing employee OH referrals, and key on-site wellbeing, health, and safety initiatives. This is your opportunity to make an individual and immediate impact in a fast paced and innovative organization, whilst also being supported by our wider Head Office HR community, a network of other P&G OH and H&S specialists. You will also have the ability to attend meetings, trainings and conferences that may require travel alongside corporate and functional training that will enable you to succeed and develop from day one.
What To Expect:
Key Responsibilities include:
Management Health Referrals:
- Manage referrals from managers regarding employees who may be sick or unfit to work, ensuring timely assessments and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with line managers and HR to develop action plans for employees requiring further support or intervention.
- Recommending adjustments for safe working environments as well as creating comprehensive OH reports and phased return to work plans.
- Work with departments to manage long-term sickness absence cases, providing support and guidance to both employees and management.
- Regularly review the site absence data with HR, look at trends and agree required interventions.
- Collaborate with the external Physician to support complex case resolution and employee support.
First Aid Responsibilities:
- Liaise with First Aiders and Safety Team to ensure full competency and adequate responses to onsite incidents.
- Advise on site First Aid provisions and maintain supplies and equipment consistent with site needs.
Compliance with P&G Health System Key Elements and Health, Safety and Environmental standards:
- Ensure the site meets all requirements set forth by the P&G Health System Key Elements and Health, Safety and Environmental standards, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- To work with our facilities Team to deliver safe systems of work.
- To drive the implementation of HSE policies and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
- Maintain all elements of the H&SE management systems and ongoing compliance.
Workstation Assessment Program:
- Using the Cardinus Ergonomic System, coordinate the workstation assessment program to ensure ergonomic compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on best practices for workstation setup and ergonomics.
Health & Safety Promotion and Education:
- Develop and implement health and safety promotion initiatives to enhance employee well-being and reduce workplace risks.
- Provide training and workshops on health and safety related topics, including stress management, mental health, occupational safety, and manual handling.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all employees in accordance with data protection regulations and using our Orchid Medical Data Management System.
- Prepare documentation and reports for audits and site self-assessments ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and present reports on health and safety outcomes, compliance status, and health and safety promotion activities to management.

Job Qualifications
What We Look For:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Relevant occupational health qualifications (e.g., OH degree or certificate)
- NEBOSH certificate.
- Experience in occupational health nursing within a commercial office environment.
- Excellent case management skills.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet challenges with a pragmatic and resilient approach.
- To be able to work equally well independently or as part of a larger team.
- Good digital and IT skills and comfortable using a PC and basic Microsoft programmes such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
