Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including installation, rebuilding, commissioning, and repair.
- Assist with all service calls while on shift.
- Work closely with the operating area team you’re assigned to, providing insights to ensure business goals are met.
- Proactively assist operations technicians with troubleshooting and emergency repairs, and support and learn mechanical maintenance skills and tasks as necessary.
- Maintain personal safety and help ensure the safety of other team members and contractors, enforcing safety rules, reporting near‑misses, and keeping the workplace clean.
- Safely troubleshoot issues by reading logic in PLCs and other control equipment, using diagnostic tools, and addressing problems related to production machine coordinated drives.
- Maintain the SAP Plant Maintenance System, completing work orders and documentation in both computer‑based and paper formats.

Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of ONC/C&G Part III or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent time‑served apprenticeship.
- Proven electrical experience in process or production environments, preferably in FMCG or similar industry.
- Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley preferred), SCADA systems, instrumentation and 415V motor‑control circuits.
- High level of accountability with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
- Willingness to suggest and implement changes that improve systems, work processes and equipment reliability.
- Fluent communication in English.
