Procter & Street Resourcing are delighted to be working with a nationally recognised Civil Engineering contractor, recruiting a Project Manager for their Team. Our client has an exceptional reputation in the industry for their collaborative and adaptable approach allowing them to build long lasting relationships, and regularly securing repeat business with international clients. The role The Project Manager will play an instrumental part in overseeing a range of civil engineering schemes in the Highways and Utilities sectors. You will oversee the project from inception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will report to the Contracts Manager and manage the Site Manager and other site personnel. Other duties include: * Lead and manage all aspects of the construction project, from planning through to execution and close-out. * Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Manage and coordinate the work of the Site Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour. * Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep the project on track. What are we looking for? A strong communicator, who can interface effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also have a history of successfully delivering Construction schemes to values in the millions. Requirements: * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, etc.). * PRINCE 2 (highly desired) * APM (highly desired) * Full UK driving licence
