Are you Scheduler with a background in the Utilities or Highways sector looking for a new challenge? Procter and Street is partnering with a well-established Civil Engineering Company looking to expand their team. This is a new role due to increased workload, and you would become a valuable member of a welcoming and energetic team. As a Scheduler, you will play an instrumental part in the coordination and planning of Highway Maintenance schemes, communicating effectively with Inspectors reporting the defects, and the Maintenance Team who delivery and complete the workload. Responsibilities * Answer phone and emails enquiries from customers and Inspectors * Efficiently schedule Supervisors to respond to Corrective and Preventative Maintenance calls * Efficiently schedule accepted quoted works and revisits. * Liaise with/schedule works for subcontractors. * Obtain permits and supply Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) where necessary. * Record costings agreed with customers clearly in service management system. * Analyse systems fault reports and book call-outs accordingly. * Communicate with Supervisors to ensure schedules are being followed and address any issues or delays. What are we looking for? Ideally has working experince in either Highways or Utilities sectors. As well as: * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure. * Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel. * Excellent organizational and time management abilities. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Attention to detail and strong administration skills. * Happy to be Office based
