Pro Cook is excited to announce we are hiring for a Finance Business Partner. The role will suit an analytical, commercially minded Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant who is confident working with large datasets, supporting senior stakeholders, and translating financial insight into meaningful business actions. An individual who enjoys problem‑solving, partnering with non‑finance teams, and driving continuous improvement will excel in this role. You will play a key part in supporting operational and strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and proactive financial guidance, with significant exposure to senior leadership.
This is a full-time, permanent role requiring a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote (non-negotiable) at our Gloucester location.
Responsibilities- Business partnering with other departments specifically Retail & Marketing to understand their budget, drive performance, challenge spend and support cost control
- Presenting financial insights at quarterly review meetings
- Liaising with senior stakeholders to support quarterly reforecasting
- Ad-hoc reporting to support decision making
- Supporting the CFO and external stakeholders as and when required for lease renegotiations
- Submission of board packs including commentary
- Maintaining lease data for all stores
- Supporting audit queries
- P&L analysis and reporting to each department
- Assist in the completion of monthly management accounts and reconciliations
- Supporting the FP&A Manager with budgeting and reforecasting
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to model financial data
- Competent in the use of IT systems (Microsoft Business Central & Power BI preferred)
- Strong communication skills with an ability to influence others
- Strong organisational skills, logical approach and attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated, resilient and able to demonstrate initiative
- Salary is between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience and skills
