Overview
In this role you will support contractor and LEM onboarding, maintain data integrity across systems, and perform financial reconciliations to enable accurate cost tracking. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, monitor data and reporting, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes. The role sits within Cenovus's Supply Chain Management team in Calgary, offering opportunities to influence operational excellence and data-driven decision making. You will work with diverse stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes and meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Support contractor and LEM onboarding activities, system setup and process coordination
- Maintain accurate contractor, supplier, and supply chain records across multiple systems
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive timely outcomes
- Track and manage outstanding actions to ensure documentation and requirements are completed
- Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in costs, invoices, and PO activity
- Review PO balances and identify root causes of invoicing and cost variances
- Validate supporting documentation for cost accuracy and contractual compliance
- Identify recurring trends and recommend process improvements and corrective actions
- Monitor Power BI dashboards and reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Communicate priorities, status updates, and risks to stakeholders
- Build relationships to support operational excellence and business performance
Key requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis)
- Experience with multiple systems, large datasets, and complex processes
