Overview
In this role, you will translate business needs into structured requirements and process models to support decision-making and delivery. You will work across multiple initiatives, collaborating with project managers, technical leads, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes. You’ll drive end-to-end requirements, create process documentation, and identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver value. This contract position offers a hybrid work model with three days in-office in Calgary or Edmonton, contributing to high-impact projects aligned with the company’s technology and enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end requirements activities across multiple initiatives
- Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to align requirements
- Elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop process models and documentation
- Facilitate alignment across business, technology, and vendor teams
- Manage requirements throughout the lifecycle
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Key requirements
- 8-10 years of Business Analysis experience in technology or enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and lifecycle management
- Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Experience with Agile, hybrid, or stage-gated delivery frameworks
- Strong understanding of SDLC concepts
- Proficiency with process modeling and documentation tools
- Strong proficiency setting up and managing Jira
