The Role
As part of our Cloud Engineering function, you’ll play a key role in our shift towards a product‑centric environment. You’ll be building new modules and platforms across Azure, while helping us migrate from traditional infrastructure to modern cloud services. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with stakeholders — from gathering requirements to delivering robust, scalable solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience transitioning from traditional infrastructure to Azure cloud environments.
- Strong background in designing, building, and deploying cloud infrastructure services.
- A customer‑first mindset, with the ability to deliver commercially viable solutions.
- Experience in AWS, Google Cloud, and legacy infrastructure will be advantageous.
Your Cloud Toolkit
- Azure: Azure SQL, Azure Entra ID, Azure DevOps, Azure Container Apps, API Management Services, Azure Functions
- Infrastructure as Code: ARM, Terraform, Opentofu
- Automation & CI/CD: Octopus Deploy (or similar), CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, PowerShell Scripting, Azure CLI
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, container registry (ACR)
- Versioning & Monitoring: GIT, SEQ
- Multi‑cloud exposure: AWS, Google Cloud
- Security & Identity: RBAC, Azure Policies, secrets management (Key Vault)
This role will involve on‑call working on a rota basis (24/7). To be successful in this role you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
