Proclinical is seeking a Head of Bioanalysis & Immunoanalysis to lead a pivotal function supporting global drug development pipelines. In this high-impact leadership role, you will drive bioanalytical strategy, immunogenicity assessment, and laboratory innovation across preclinical and clinical programs. This position offers the opportunity to shape cutting-edge laboratory operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for bioanalysis and immunoanalysis functions, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day running of the laboratory, including managing a large-scale integrated lab environment, to ensure operational excellence and innovation.
- Lead the development and validation of bioanalytical and immunoanalytical methods, such as LC-MS/MS, ligand-binding assays, and cell-based assays.
- Deliver high-quality pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), and immunogenicity data across all stages of drug development in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with clinical, DMPK, and translational teams to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external partners and CROs, ensuring quality, timelines, and performance are met.
- Mentor and develop scientific teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Champion the adoption of new technologies, digital solutions, and laboratory automation.
- Ensure full compliance with GLP, GCP, GxP, and other regulatory standards.
- Expertise in bioanalysis, immunogenicity, and immunoanalytical method development.
- Proven experience managing laboratories, multidisciplinary teams, and complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of drug development processes, clinical trials, and regulatory frameworks (GLP, GCP, GxP).
- Experience working with and managing CROs and external scientific collaborations.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and the ability to implement new technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, collaborative teams.
- Strong commitment to quality, compliance, and scientific excellence.
- PhD or equivalent in analytical sciences, immunology, DMPK, or a related discipline.
