Our client is seeking a FSP Site Budgeting and Contracting Specialist to join a dynamic team within the clinical research sector.

In this role, you will support the management of research-related agreements, financial documentation, and associated operational activities.

You will also contribute to the administration of overarching research agreements, helping to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in the UK, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative clinical research programmes.

Responsibilities: Review and agree commercial and contractual terms with external stakeholders.

Support the negotiation and management of master clinical trial agreements.

Work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support efficient study planning and operational delivery.

Apply consistent standards to site budgeting and contracting processes across projects.

Utilize industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract feedback aligned with fair market value guidance.

Identify potential delays early and escalate issues to the appropriate team members.

Track all actions and negotiations to ensure study and site timelines are met.

Assist in resolving issues escalated by the site activation sub-team.

Key Skills and

Requirements: Experience negotiating master clinical trial agreements and related contract documentation.

Previous experience working within a regulated healthcare, life sciences, or research-focused organisation, with exposure to study administration, operational processes, or project coordination activities.

Strong understanding of country-specific contracting and budget processes, including associated challenges and requirements.

Knowledge of fair market value principles and industry budgeting tools is advantageous.

Familiarity with clinical trial agreements, clinical development processes, and the broader life sciences industry.

Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a scientific, business, legal, or related discipline.

Excellent organisational, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to review budgets, contract terms, and associated risks.

Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional teams.

Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
