Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Data Manager to join a dynamic team focused on improving patient outcomes in cardiothoracic surgery. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing database onboarding, data curation, and ensuring data quality. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and healthcare institutions to support data-driven research and best practices. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain data management and onboarding processes to standardize data collection and formats.
- Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and national societies across Europe to enable secure data transfers, validate data, and meet governance requirements.
- Oversee the registration and setup process for new hospitals and users within the database systems.
- Build and manage Microsoft Azure Synapse pipelines for hospital data onboarding.
- Facilitate data collection, cleaning, and curation in collaboration with hospital data managers.
- Support the development of data analysis reports and data dictionaries.
- Ensure accurate mapping of hospital data into required formats and address data completeness or errors.
- Generate annual and center-specific reports and follow up with participating centers to ensure timely data uploads.
- Provide technical and customer support to database users, including researchers and surgeons.
- Develop onboarding materials, presentations, and technical protocols for database use.
- Liaise with technology partners to address user queries and inform database improvements.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Stata, R, Python, or SAS.
- Experience with data management tools like SQL and Excel.
