Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to ensure the safe and compliant dispensing of medications and related items to patients. This role focuses on maintaining high standards in pharmacy practices and requires immediate attention to detail and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical checks of prescriptions and orders containing prescription-only and pharmacy medicines before dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with GPhC, RPS, and internal SOPs, as well as GDP, GWP, and ISO standards.
- Implement and uphold GPhC and RPS standards and guidelines in practice.
- Establish clinical and governance arrangements per RPS standards for homecare services.
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist when designated by senior pharmacists.
- Train and advise personnel on pharmacy and legal requirements.
- Supervise locum pharmacists, pharmacy checkers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Membership with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Master's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
- Ability to work independently and manage unpredictable workloads.
- Experience in staff supervision.
- Expertise in good dispensing and distribution practices.
- Capability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing shift patterns.
