Are you passionate about improving the lives of people living with rare diseases?


Proclinical is seeking a Regional Rare Disease Lead to develop strong relationships within the healthcare ecosystem, identify unmet patient needs, and support access to innovative treatment options. Working closely with healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering patient‑centered solutions that create lasting impact.


Responsibilities:



  • Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and compliance, always keeping patient needs at the forefront of every activity.

  • Build strong, insight‑led partnerships that support and improve outcomes for people living with rare diseases.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of local healthcare networks, patient journeys, and key stakeholder priorities.

  • Implement strategic territory and account plans that align with patient pathways and encourage effective cross‑functional collaboration.

  • Deliver accurate, balanced, and impactful information on rare disease treatments to healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date expertise in relevant disease areas, treatment landscapes, clinical evidence, and standards of care.

  • Champion the needs of rare disease patients by connecting stakeholders with appropriate resources, support tools, and educational materials.

  • Achieve agreed business objectives while contributing to the overall success and growth of national brand strategies.


Key Skills and Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to understand patient needs and make a meaningful difference.

  • Proven success in field‑based roles, such as biopharmaceutical sales, key account management, or reimbursement support.

  • Experience within specialty neurology, rare diseases, or other highly specialised therapy areas is advantageous.

  • Demonstrated track record of supporting and contributing to successful product launches.

  • Confident using digital and multichannel engagement strategies to build effective relationships with healthcare professionals.

  • Sound understanding of medical, scientific, and healthcare principles, particularly within the rare disease landscape.

  • A collaborative and adaptable team player with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to cross‑functional working.
