Pharmacy Homecare Practitioner

Job Title: Homecare Pharmacist Job Function: Pharmacy Therapy Area/Industry: Homecare Services Job Type: 12 month contract (Part-time) 2 days per week (Tuesday/Wednesday) – 2pm-10pm. Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Homecare Pharmacist to ensure the safe and compliant dispensing of medications and related items to patients. This role focuses on maintaining high standards in pharmacy practices and requires immediate attention to detail and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Conduct physical checks of prescriptions and orders containing prescription-only and pharmacy medicines before dispatch. – Establish clinical and governance arrangements per RPS standards for homecare services. – Act as the Responsible Pharmacist when designated by senior pharmacists. – Train and advise personnel on pharmacy and legal requirements. – Supervise locum pharmacists, pharmacy checkers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams. Membership with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). – Master\’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm). – Experience in staff supervision. – Capability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing shift patterns.
