Proclinical is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support laboratory operations by performing analyses and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively as a team member.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standards of Work (SW).
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and report any quality issues.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
  • Stay current with all required training.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
  • Engage in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) processes.
  • Conduct necessary business analyses.
  • Enter data accurately into company systems.
  • Verify the accuracy of colleagues' work.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP and Health and Safety legislation.
  • Perform equipment checks and calibrations.
  • Create, review, and update laboratory documentation.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English, and Chemistry, or experience in a GxP laboratory.
  • A background in science is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in at least one area of Pharmaceutical Microbiology i.e. Environmental Monitoring, Finished Product Testing (Endotoxin, Sterility or Microbial Limit testing), Sterilisation, Biological Indicators, Microbial Identification, Lab Equipment validation, Method Validation.
