My client is seeking an experienced Medical Writer to work on a deliverable‑based basis within a leading SciComms team. The role focuses on reviewing and elevating AI‑generated manuscript drafts for clinical trial publications and helping accelerate evidence into clinical practice. This is for up to 16 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review, annotate and refine manuscript drafts to high publication standards
  • Support rapid‑turnaround deliverables
  • Liaise with authors through to submission
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data‑privacy standards
  • Provide quality feedback and act as an independent reviewer

What we’re looking for:

  • Medical writing experience within pharma/biotech
  • Strong understanding of clinical research, biostats and publication guidelines (GPP, ICMJE, CONSORT)
  • Solid knowledge of the manuscript lifecycle
  • 3+ years’ experience and an advanced life‑science degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in oncology or HEOR is a bonus.

This is a remote contract role, with hourly rates based on experience and location.
