My client is a large Pharmaceutical company seeking a Senior HR Specialist that can speak Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese.

ROLE:

Reporting to the Director of International Employee Relations in the UK, this role will be responsible for managing a broad range of employee relations (ER) cases as well as supporting on business change projects. The role will be London based. The Senior Employee Relations Manager will engage closely with our UK ER team but also support our Director ER lead with advisory across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, so early morning starts will be required. Hours of work can be discussed.

CANDIDATE:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing Employee Relations and a BS or BA degree.
  • Language – English is essential, while additional Asian language skills like Mandarin and Cantonese would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Broad knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures in the UK & Asia region.
  • Requires solid working knowledge and understanding of Human Resources legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures.
