This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative research and development while championing Environment, Health, and Safety excellence. Responsibilities:
- Deliver EHS services and solutions that align with legal and corporate requirements.
- Develop and support EHS&S technical areas, such as chemical agents.
- Advise on risk mitigation controls for health hazards in the workplace.
- Review chemical and COSHH risk assessments.
- Support industrial hygiene monitoring, including noise and air exposure.
- Manage PPE and RPE programs and respond to related queries.
- Conduct mask fit tests and manage testing for the Emergency Response Team.
- Build partnerships with R&D and support functions to provide EHS&S guidance.
- Implement and deliver EHS&S programs, procedures, training, audits, and risk assessments.
- Report and communicate EHS data, investigate incidents, and support initiatives.
- Collaborate with EHS professionals to deliver efficient services.
- Assess and minimize EHS risks and refine local management systems.
- Prioritise and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Expertise in EHS services, particularly in hazardous substance management.
- Ability to develop and support technical EHS&S areas.
- Strong advisory skills for risk mitigation in health hazard scenarios.
- Proficiency in reviewing risk assessments and supporting hygiene monitoring.
- Experience in managing PPE/RPE programs and conducting fit tests.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Capability to implement and support EHS&S programs and initiatives.
