This is a great role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment and enjoys partnering closely with the business on complex commercial matters.

In this position, you’ll play a key role in shaping tender strategies, reviewing large‑scale opportunities, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and advising internal teams on contractual risks and obligations. You’ll work across a wide range of contract types — from customer agreements and supplier subcontracts to variations, confidentiality agreements, novations, software licences and more.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pre‑tender positioning and advising on contractual risks
  • Reviewing and managing multiple high‑value tender opportunities
  • Working closely with bids and commercial teams on tender submissions
  • Drafting clarifications and coordinating responses to mitigate risk
  • Negotiating and executing robust commercial contracts
  • Advising on contractual rights, obligations and procurement regulations
  • Handling variations, amendments and a range of supporting legal documents
  • Providing clear, practical guidance to stakeholders across the business

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree‑level education (or equivalent experience)
  • Background in commercial contracting — legal, procurement or contract management
  • Strong understanding of contract law and experience with high‑value, complex agreements
  • Ideally, knowledge of public procurement regulations and basic data‑protection principles
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Someone proactive, detail‑focused, collaborative and confident working at pace

This role offers exposure across the entire organisation, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving and influencing outcomes in a complex environment.
