Proclinical is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic team in the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless supply of products to patients by managing and coordinating supply chain activities. You will act as a vital link between commercial, regulatory, and manufacturing partners to maintain efficiency and mitigate supply disruptions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the replenishment of finished goods to distribution centers and third‑party partners, serving as the main contact for distributors.
- Monitor stock levels to minimize waste due to expiration and initiate redistribution when necessary.
- Manage supplier relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to foster strong partnerships.
- Organize and monitor shipments, including customs documentation, and collaborate with Quality Personnel (QP) for product release.
- Conduct multi‑site, multi‑market, and multi‑level planning to align supply from CMOs with market demand.
- Analyze market forecasts and address deviations in sales and demand projections.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to define annual quantities and provide rolling forecasts to suppliers.
- Ensure all quality documents are collected and cross‑checked for goods receipt, and accurately post goods receipts in SAP, including batch numbers, expiry dates, and manufacturing details.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance in all supply chain activities within SAP.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, particularly in forecasting, planning, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven approach to problem‑solving.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in GDP and GMP standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
