Proclinical is seeking an experienced investigator to lead compliance investigations into potential violations of internal procedures, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and global regulatory requirements. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining and enhancing the investigations program, fostering a culture of integrity, and managing complex investigative processes with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal investigations into allegations such as harassment, discrimination, fraud, corruption, and other forms of misconduct.
  • Document investigation procedures thoroughly in both English and German, and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Develop and oversee global investigation processes, including updating policies, procedures, templates, and strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance the whistleblower system, ensuring confidentiality and professional case handling.
  • Ensure compliance with global ethical standards and regulatory requirements, particularly regarding the protection of reporting individuals.
  • Organize and deliver training and awareness campaigns on investigations and Speak-Up initiatives with a global reach.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to uphold compliance and ethical standards while facilitating investigations.
  • Manage external service providers for structured and effective processing of compliance investigations when required.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Background in economics, law, or a related field, with a focus on compliance and/or internal investigations.
  • Experience leading and conducting internal compliance investigations, ideally in an international setting.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with integrity, independence, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking to evaluate complex issues and derive sustainable actions.
  • Fluency in English and German; additional languages (e.g., Chinese) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and project management, with the ability to handle complex scenarios.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and propose enhancements to investigation policies and processes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
