Proclinical is seeking a Healthcare Partner specializing in rare diseases to be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of hospital accounts. In this role, you will act as a strategic account lead, working closely with healthcare professionals and decision-makers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. This position involves a mix of face-to-face and digital interactions, requiring strong project management skills and a customer-centric approach. Your contributions will play a critical role in advancing rare disease offerings and achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and the healthcare environment.
- Identify and engage with relevant stakeholders to enhance the value proposition.
- Gather and analyze account insights and customer preferences.
- Create and maintain Strategic Account Plans and Customer Engagement Plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design customized engagement strategies.
- Manage local budgets and monitor expenditures in alignment with company goals.
- Share best practices and coordinate efforts with other Healthcare Partners across the UK.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and budgetary guidelines.
- Lead customer engagement initiatives through personalized omnichannel communication.
- Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, becoming a partner of choice.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to streamline customer engagement efforts.
- Stay updated on the UK healthcare system and therapy area advancements.
- Pursue external learning opportunities and participate in training sessions.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor\’s degree preferred, ideally in a scientific discipline.
- Experience in customer engagement within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on commercial objectives; rare disease experience is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ABPI Code of Conduct.
- Proven ability to drive business outcomes and collaborate across functions.
- Proficiency in both face-to-face and virtual customer engagement.
- Strong project management skills, including oversight of regional initiatives.
- Experience with product launches is highly desirable.
