Proclinical is seeking an Applications Product Specialist to support diagnostic operations in the South UK region. This role focuses on tissue pathology and histology, with an emphasis on immunohistochemistry and related platforms. The position requires field-based work with occasional visits to Burgess Hill and may involve supporting the wider team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and expertise in tissue pathology, cellular pathology, and histology.
  • Operate and troubleshoot diagnostic platforms such as Benchmark Ultra, Ultra Plus, XT Bond, and DAKO systems.
  • Assist with immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridisation (ISH) processes.
  • Ensure timely response to customer needs within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to address operational challenges and deliver high-quality service.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Strong background in tissue pathology, cellular pathology, histology, or histopathology.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic platforms such as Benchmark Ultra, Ultra Plus, XT Bond, and DAKO.
  • Must reside within the South UK region (outside London, south of the M4) or be willing to relocate.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory and provide prompt customer support.
