This role focuses on tissue pathology and histology, with an emphasis on immunohistochemistry and related platforms. The position requires field-based work with occasional visits to Burgess Hill and may involve supporting the wider team as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and expertise in tissue pathology, cellular pathology, and histology.
- Operate and troubleshoot diagnostic platforms such as Benchmark Ultra, Ultra Plus, XT Bond, and DAKO systems.
- Assist with immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridisation (ISH) processes.
- Ensure timely response to customer needs within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the wider team to address operational challenges and deliver high-quality service.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Strong background in tissue pathology, cellular pathology, histology, or histopathology.
- Familiarity with diagnostic platforms such as Benchmark Ultra, Ultra Plus, XT Bond, and DAKO.
- Must reside within the South UK region (outside London, south of the M4) or be willing to relocate.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and provide prompt customer support.
