This is an exciting opportunity to support clients with complex injuries and health conditions to optimise their recovery and reach their rehabilitation and return to work goals. Working within a commercial (personal injury and medical negligence) context, this field-based role involves navigating clients through their personal rehabilitation journey by:
- Conducting in-person and virtual assessments to determine clients' physical, psychological and social needs on an ongoing basis
- Devising and coordinating goal-focussed rehabilitation programmes, which includes a combination of both private and statutory services
- Coordinating private treatment e.g. physiotherapy, psychology, investigations or surgery
- Collaborating with family members and other inter-disciplinary professionals
- Communicating regularly with external stakeholders e.g. solicitors, insurers and employers
- Writing comprehensive reports for the instructing parties to provide updates, demonstrate progress and seek funding approval
- Facilitating return to work and/or education
