A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Site and Installation Managers to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. We provide a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with our clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Organising and supervising engineers, subcontractors and work activities.
  • Preparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Assessing and managing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Completion of all documents that are associated with the status of the project such as Quality Plans.
  • Ensuring appropriate site rules and welfare facilities are in place.
  • Assisting Project Managers to update and plan the work programme.
  • Arranging and co-ordinating deliveries of materials, plant and equipment so that project progression isn’t halted.
  • Completing company quality documents so that site reports can be provided to the management team.
  • Attending site management meetings.
  • Carrying out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.
  • Raising safety concerns at the appropriate level.
  • Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
  • Understanding PNID drawings.
  • Organising and planning 2 weeks look ahead programs.

Skills:

  • Communication and people management on site.
  • Managing skill levels onsite to determine labour requirements.
  • Signing off construction completion and commissioning paperwork.
  • Updating the senior management team of progress.

Qualifications and Specifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar position of Site Supervisor.
  • Time Served Qualified Engineer.
  • CSCS Site Manager/Site Supervisor or ECITB - CCNNSG Card.
