A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Welder Fabricator to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing to the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. We provide a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with our clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs.
Role and Responsibilities:
- MIG/TIG/MMA Welding
- Pipework welding
- Assess which welding equipment is required and which method is the most appropriate for a specific welding task
- Able to work as part of a team and to contribute to improve efficiency and quality
- Excellent planning and organisation, focusing on key priorities and working to deadlines
- You use your own initiative, plan your own work and allocate time accordingly
- Inspect welded surfaces and smooth them for the best finish
- Align components to be welded using rulers, and clamp the pieces for stability
- Weld components
- Read/follow Drawings or project specifications
- Know how to calculate dimensions of parts to be welded
- Follow safety procedures
- Comprehensive experience in both TIG and MIG welding is essential
