A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Site and Installation Managers to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. We provide a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with our clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Organising and supervising engineers, subcontractors and work activities.
- Preparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks.
- Assessing and managing risk assessments and method statements.
- Completion of all documents that are associated with the status of the project such as Quality Plans.
- Ensuring appropriate site rules and welfare facilities are in place.
- Assisting Project Managers to update and plan the work programme.
- Arranging and co-ordinating deliveries of materials, plant and equipment so that project progression isn’t halted.
- Completing company quality documents so that site reports can be provided to the management team.
- Attending site management meetings.
- Carrying out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.
- Raising safety concerns at the appropriate level.
- Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
- Understanding PNID drawings.
- Organising and planning 2 weeks look ahead programs.
Skills:
- Communication and people management on site.
- Managing skill levels onsite to determine labour requirements.
- Signing off construction completion and commissioning paperwork.
- Updating the senior management team of progress.
Qualifications and Specification:
- Previous experience in a similar position of Site Supervisor.
- Time Served Qualified Engineer.
- CSCS Site Manager/Site Supervisor or ECITB – CCNNSG Card.
