A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing to the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. We provide a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with our clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Creation of 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Create and modify 2D plans using AutoCAD
- Create and modify 2D P&IDs using AutoCAD
- Display and coordination of 3D Models using Autodesk Navisworks
- Responsible for layouts and design of equipment, pipe supports, process and utilities pipework.
- Prepare and update layout, installation, and 3D drawings for projects
- Review plans, specifications and other customer documentation
- Liaise with external clients and team members
- Managing customer requirements and expectations with respect to CAD in accordance with ISO9001
- Understanding and incorporating client designs
- Creation of drawings
- Issuing drawings
- Stakeholder Management skills and self-motivated and able to work autonomously, to deadlines and within budget.
Experience:
- AutoCAD (from version 2016) Software Training
- 5 Years CAD / Navisworks experience
- CSCS card
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering preferred, although other engineering qualifications will be considered.
- Full clean Driving license
